Mohan Spintex India Limited (MSIL) is an Indian vertically integrated textile manufacturer headquartered in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. Founded in 2005 by V. Sudhakar Chowdary, it began production in October 2006 with 14,400 spindles at Vattigudipadu. The company now operates 1,21,488 spindles and 324 air-jet looms, and spins, weaves, processes and stitches its own products – from yarn to finished sheet sets, duvet covers and quilts. It supplies manufacturers such as Welspun and Indo Count, exports to more than 22 countries, and sells in India under its own brand, Astara. Trade press describes it as the second-largest textile company in Andhra Pradesh. (Full article...)
