Mohan Spintex India Limited was incorporated on 11 May 2005 as a public limited company registered in Vijayawada.<ref name="zauba" /> Commercial production began in October 2006 at Unit 1 in Vattigudipadu, then a single spinning mill with 14,400 spindles.<ref name="tm2022" />

The company expanded in stages.
