The company names leading Indian textile manufacturers among its domestic customers, including:<ref name="msilhome">{{Ref msilhome}}</ref>

Several of these customers are themselves large exporters, and they audit their suppliers against the standards their own international customers require.

Exports were important from the start. The company says it sold in the domestic market first and then overseas, and by 2017 it was exporting close to 50% of its output, to countries including [[wikipedia:Bangladesh|Bangladesh]], [[wikipedia:Pakistan|Pakistan]], [[wikipedia:China|China]] and Europe.<ref name="tm2017">{{Ref tm2017}}</ref> The Managing Director attributed the company's competitive edge to "value addition in terms of quality, consistent supply and committed delivery".<ref name="tm2017" />
